Cartibend: Osteochondral Allograft Bending

Unmet Medical Need: Current treatments for osteoarthritis of the thumb and fingers are not satisfactory, and no successful artificial joints are available for the thumb. Current treatments relieve pain but fail to restore full function and strength for patients.

Envisioned Healthcare Product: The envisioned product is an implantable osteochondral allograft custom-bent to fit the recipient joint and delivered ready for transplantation to the attending surgeon. This product will help eliminate pain and restore function, reducing the need for future treatments for patients.
