EVALUATION CRITERIA

Projects are selected through a multi-stage process, by advisors and judges representing the investor, clinical, entrepreneurial, tech transfer, and industry business development communities across healthcare (biopharma, medtech, healthcare IT). 

Each application will be judged on its merits, against the following criteria:

• Commercialization Potential (potential for reimbursement, regulatory approval, and adoption by relevant stakeholders).
• Clinical Impact (potential to improve the standard of care, address unmet needs, solve a significant healthcare problem).
• Potential to achieve Proof-of-Concept (realistic plan to reduce technical risk).
• Potential to achieve follow-on investment required to make a significant impact on patient care.
